It is our great pleasure to inform you that the WiN- Korea has the honor of hosting the 18th WiN-Global Annual Conference that will be held on May 9-14, 2010, in Busan, Korea. All members of the WiN-Korea will endeavor to do our best to make it a successful Conference and to welcome all members of the WiN-Global from around the world.

With the advent of the renaissance of nuclear energy, it is timely to remind ourselves of the role of nuclear energy as a sustainable energy source and a core component of green energy, this Conference will therefore feature various scientific sessions under the theme of “Nuclear Power Pivotal Choice for Green Growth”

Scientific sessions will consist of Plenary and Concurrent sessions. In the plenary sessions, invited speakers and members of the WiN-Global will give a presentation and hold a discussion. In addition, 6 topics of concurrent sessions will be presented in an oral presentation format. Also, we will prepare poster sessions to encourage as many members to attend this Conference as possible.

We are planning to invite distinguished guests who are the leaders of their professional field, as VIPs and speakers of the Plenary Sessions.

It has been decided at the Executive meeting & the General Assembly of the 17th WiN-Global Conference in Washington D.C., USA in 2009 that all participants who attend the WiN-Global Annual Conference have to pay their registration fee and this policy will be applied from the 18th WiN-Global Conference that will be held in 2010. Therefore, we cordially ask for your kind understanding in charging the registration fee.

The first version of the official website of the conference is now opened, and it will be updated according to further progress of the conference.

Please visit the website and register as early as possible, and we hope many members to participate in technical sessions for either oral or poster presentation.
